The first Ryanair Group Boeing 737NG installed with Aviation Partners Boeing (APB) Split Scimitar Winglets, registered EI-DLY msn 33601 Boeing 737-8AS during base maintenance check at Glasgow Prestwick in January, operated a round trip sector to Dublin from Barcelona this morning (Saturday 4th February) as RYR6394/5 arriving 0737 and departing 0837 local.
The modification will improve aircraft fuel efficiency by up to 1.5%, reducing Ryanair’s annual fuel consumption by 65 million litres and carbon emissions by 165,000 tonnes, across its fleet of 400 + Boeing 737NG aircraft.
