Ryanair announced its largest Winter schedule for Genoa City Airport for Winter 2022/3 operating 60 weekly flights, offering 400% more seats than the 2019 pre-Covid winter operation with a total of 13 routes including 5 new routes to Cagliari, Dublin, Lamezia, Manchester and Vienna.
The route will be operated by a Dublin based Boeing 737-800/8200 aircraft operating twice weekly on Friday and Sunday. RYR9717 departs Dublin 1710 arrives Genoa 2055. RYR9718 departs Genoa 2120 arrives Dublin 2315.
Genoa Chamber of Commerce Secretary General Maurizio Caviglia stated “Ryanair was a key partner in the action to relaunch the connections of Genoa City Airport in the aftermath of the pandemic. In the autumn of last year, thanks to the excellent collaboration between the Ligurian Chambers of Commerce, we got to work with the Tourist Tax of Genoa, Savona and Tigullio and we built a plan to relaunch international connections that put in the first place the need to restart foreign tourism in Liguri.”

Genoa (Genoa) is the capital of northwest Italy’s Liguria region and the sixth-largest city in Italy. The historical center, also known as old town, of Genoa is one of the largest and most-densely populated in Europe, part of it was also inscribed on the World Heritage List (UNESCO) in 2006 as Genoa: Le Strade Nuove and the system of the Palazzi dei Rolli. Genoa’s historical city centre is also known for its narrow lanes and streets that the locals call “caruggi”.
