US carrier Delta Airlines is to launch a new daily service from its Atlanta Hub to Oakland, California operated a Boeing 737-900 aircraft in a three class 180 seat configuration commencing Monday 8th August, enabling an easy one stop through to Dublin with an 1 hour 30 minute connection time in Atlanta.

Director of Aviation at the Port of Oakland Bryant L. Francis stated “Delta’s new nonstop daytime flight to their expansive hub operation in Atlanta will allow passengers even more connections within Delta’s global route network. We invite and ask that East Bay travellers utilize these new flights as part of a commitment to Fly OAK First.”
