US carrier Delta Airlines has restored connectivity between Atlanta (ATL) and Dublin (DUB) following a two year route suspension to the global pandemic. The carrier will operate five weekly Airbus A330-300 service from 27th March to 29th October for the IATA Summer Season 2022, offering 1,465 weekly seats.
The first service DAL176/177 was operated by N823NW Airbus A330-302 msn 1628.
Delta’s S.V.P. – Network Planning Joe Esposito stated “With the lifting of restrictions to the U.S. and abroad, plus growing vaccination rates and tremendous pent-up demand, travel to Europe is expected to surge next summer – and Delta customers are assured to enjoy every moment from curb to claim.”
Delta Air Lines has operated 34 years of flying between the US and Dublin Airport. The airline started a direct service between Dublin and Atlanta in 1988 and is the airport’s longest serving US carrier and will operate to Atlanta, Boston and New York for Summer 2022.
