The Port of Seattle Authority announced in a blog post Friday 10 February Aer Lingus is to resume its Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Dublin Airport (DUB) route as it reconnects with the rest of the world.
According to the Aer Lingus online booking engine the route will commence on 25 May operating five times weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays using Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Aer Lingus has an interline agreement with Seattle based Alaksa Airlines enabling onward connectivity to 90+ cities from SEA.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) newly expanded International Arrivals Facility (IAF) has been the most complex capital development program in the history of the airport is to schedule to open 3 March next, featuring a new passenger walkway, extension on A Concourse, and the 450,000-square-foot Grand Hall of the IAF work together to significantly enhance the arrival experience for international travellers. Aer Lingus launched Dublin to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) on 18 May 2018 operating four times weekly. Seattle has strong business and cultural links to Ireland as North America’s leading tech hubs and is home to multiple global hi-tech giants including Microsoft and Amazon, which have significant operations in Ireland. The Irish based aircraft leasing sector will now be re-connected directly to the home of Boeing. More than 800,000 Washingtonians claim “Irish” as their primary ancestry.
