On Thursday 6th January FedEx took delivery of two new ATR72-600F aircraft registered EI-GUM msn 1717, EI-GUP msn 1700 both aircraft where delivered Toulouse to Shannon for for post delivery modifications, for operation by ASL Airlines Ireland, a FedEx ATR operator since 2000.
EI-GUM positioned Shannon (SNN) to Paris CDG (CDG) as ABR76 on 13th January entering service next day as ABR6ML from Paris CDG (CDG) to Lyon (LYS) according to Flightradar24 data.
EI-GUP entered service on 10th January based in Shannon (SNN) operating the Paris CDG (CDG) route according to Flightradar24 data.
FedEx Express made a firm purchase of 30 ATR 72-600F aircraft with options to purchase an additional 20 aircraft. The deliveries will be about six aircraft per year over a five-year period. ASL Airlines Ireland is due to take delivery of a further two aircraft.
