Icelandair has resumed it’s Keflavik to Dublin (ICE416/7) effective from Thursday 26th August operating five times weekly using a mix of Boeing 737-8 and Boeing 737-9 aircraft and Boeing 757-200/300 aircraft. 

The first service was operated by TF-ISX Boeing 757-3E7 msn 30179 painted in “100 Years Icelandic Independence” special colours.

On the 22nd July in an stock exchange announcement the Icelandair Group stated “In Q2 Icelandair Group started to ramp up its operations to meet increased demand. The quarter showed strong booking inflow for travel in the second half of the year resulting in net cash from operating activities of $65.0 million compared to negative $96.8 million in the same quarter last year.”

Icelandair operates to ten destinations in North America from its Keflavik hub serving Boston, New York, Seattle, Minneapolis, Washington, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
