Jota Aviation is operating Bae 146-200 G-SMLA (msn E2047) on behalf of CityJet, to provide cover some of the latter’s capacity shortfalls. The aircraft positioned London Southend to Dublin on 14 June as BCY096P entering service the same day as BCY121 to London replacing G-JOTR RJ85 which positioned to London Southend as BCY097P.

Jota Aviation, based at London Southend Airport, are a specialized charter operator with a fleet of BAe 146 and Avro RJ’s originally founded to cater to the needs of the motor sport industry. The carrier continues to rapidly expand into ACMI, cargo, ad-hoc passenger and sports travel aviation markets.
