SAS Airlines subsidary SAS Airlines Ireland today (Sunday 25 March) commenced its first scheduled service to Dublin with EI-SIC Airbus A320-251N construction number 7979  operating SAS2537/8 to and from Copenhagen. On Monday 26 March it’s sistership EI-SIE operated SAS537/8 from and to Copenhagen.

On 14 November 2017 Routesonline published SAS outlines Irish unit operation from Dec 2017 indicating filed operations on routes from Dublin to Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm Arlanda for Summer 18.

SAS CEO Rickard Gustafson president and CEO stated SAS Ireland operations “got off to a flying start” up to the end of February, the airline had completed over 800 flights and carried 80,000 passengers.

SAS Airlines Ireland Headquarters are in Grand Canal Square with a fleet of 5 Airbus A320NEO’s with a further four to be delivered to operate a total of nine aircraft  with five based in London Heathrow and four to based in Malaga.
