Air Arabia Maroc is to launch a new twice weekly service from Agadir to Dublin from 4 October, operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as part of the call for expressions of interest.

Launched in 2016 by the ONMT, Air Arabia, will set up a new base in Agadir with a program of 14 rotations per week, serving Germany, Great Britain, France, Ireland and the Scandinavian countries, offering 125,000 seats annually.

In a statement to the MAP, the Regional Tourism Council said that “The efforts of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), the wilaya of the Souss Massa region, to increase the number of seats for a number of years, on the airlines, point to point, between the airport of Agadir Al Massira and the major European cities have finally resulted in the setting up of a plane based in Agadir from October 2017.”

Airport Coordination Ltd (ACL) responsible for slots at Dublin Airport has published its Start of Season report for summer 2017 listing Air Arabia Maroc as new service to Agadir,

Air Arabia Maroc operates a fleet of 4 Airbus A320s with a further two on order.
