Flybe’s inaugural flight from Shannon to Glasgow was operated by G-JEDM DHC8-402Q c/n 4077 BEE391 arriving in Shannon and BEE392 departed Shannon at 1243. The year round service operates three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays & Sundays.
                                       

The new Glasgow route is expected to generate 10,000 additional passengers through Shannon Airport in 2013, was the first route secured by the independent Shannon Airport entity. Flybe previously operated a very successful route at the airport to Birmingham between 1999 and 2005.
