Aer Lingus has taken delivery of its latest aircraft, EI-EPT Airbus A319-111, construction number 3054 ex EC-KBJ. The aircraft is registered EI-EPT and named “Ruadhan” with Hex code 4CAAD2. Pictured above EI-EPT is seen arriving in Dublin, where it landed at 1545 as EIN991 on its delivery flight from Madrid.
EI-EPT is the third of four Airbus A319-112s to be leased SMBC Aviation Capital formerly operated by Iberia Airlines.
The airline stated in 2012 annual results that “The A319 aircraft type are appropriate for some of the lower demand routes within our network and should drive further operating and cost efficiencies.”
