Aer Lingus is to strengthen the seasonal Dublin to Santiago route from 31st March 2013 operating three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, increasing to four times weekly from from 7th July to 20th October with a Sunday service until 20th October given strong demand on the route.

The route is very popular with Christian pilgrims and many other travelers set out each year to make their way to Santiago de Compostela for the Camino Way know as The Way of St. James or St. James’ Way is the pilgrimage route to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the apostle Saint James are buried.
