Air France has announced that their daily seasonal service from its Paris CDG hub to Cork will be boosted by twice-daily flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday during the peak summer travel months of July and August. The route will be serviced by combination of the Embraer 190 aircraft and the Airbus A318 or Airbus A319 aircraft.

Air France-KLM General Manager UK & Ireland, Jerome Salemi said “The return of the daily flights between Cork and Paris is in response to the popularity of this route during the summer period and really strengthens our footprint in Ireland. We are very pleased to be offering this service as part of our commitment to the Irish region, allowing even more passengers from the South of Ireland to visit not only France, but also a long list of worldwide destinations via our convenient hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.”

Cork Airport Head of Aviation Business Development and Communications Tara Finn said “This is really fantastic news from Air France and I would like to thank them for this significant commitment to growth at Cork Airport. The daily service to Paris Charles de Gaulle is an important link for both leisure and business passengers alike, providing direct point-to-point and onward connectivity to the wider Air France global network. With increased capacity throughout the season and more frequency during the peak summer months, it will also serve as a boost to inbound tourism by providing even more choice and access for consumers in the wider Paris region – a market of some 12 million people.”

Tourism Ireland ranks France as the fourth-largest market for inbound tourists to the island of Ireland. Flying from Cork Airport since 2018, Air France provides a direct, daily service to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport from March 31 to October 29, 2024. The service provides excellent access to the French capital along with onward connectivity to 187 onward destinations across the wider Air France worldwide network.
