In an Facebook post Cork Airport based Atlantic Flight Training Academy (AFTA) announced 2019 Graduate Mathilde Saurat during last weekend returned to Cork as the First Officer operating Air France HOP Embraer E190 flight AFR1094 from Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Atlantic Flight Training Academy (AFTA) CEO & Head of Training Mark Casey commented “It was great to see Mathilde and her crew today in this amazing aircraft. We are so proud of Mathilde’s rapid progression and career achievements. I must say I am not surprised as Mathilde was the perfect student, who was always well prepared and worked so hard to meet training deadlines and progress performance levels. Looking forward to seeing you in March for AFTA’s 30 Year Anniversary.”

Mathilde Saurat said “It was fantastic to land back in Cork Airport today. I miss it so much. The ATC and staff are so good. The last time I landed here it was during my multi instrument flight test with AFTA CEO and Head of Training, Captain Mark Casey, who kindly visited the aircraft on my turnaround to say hi to myself and the Captain.”
