Ryanair announced its Winter 2024 schedule at Shannon Airport operating three aircraft (2 x Boeing 737NG and 1 Boeing 737 MAX 8-200) on 17 routes. In response to market demand Ryanair has  added extra flights on its five s most popular routes to Kaunas, Krakow, London Stansted, Manchester, and Tenerife South.

Ryanair’s Head of Communications, Jade Kirwan, said “As Ireland’s no.1 airline, Ryanair is pleased to announce our Winter 2024 schedule for Shannon, with 17 routes (including key business travel, city break and Winter sun destinations) and extra flights on 5 of those routes – Kaunas, Krakow, London, Manchester, and Tenerife.”

The Shannon Airport Group CEO Mary Considine, said “We are excited to welcome Ryanair’s winter schedule, with 17 routes and increased frequency on five key Shannon Airport services to Tenerife, Kaunas, Krakow, London, and Manchester creating an additional seat capacity of almost 30,000, a 5% increase over last winter. We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with Ryanair, whose investment supports over 1,000 jobs and underscores their vital economic contribution to enhancing connectivity for both business and leisure travel.”

Ryanair has operated from Shannon for the past 37+ years, carrying over 20 million passengers and investing heavily in the region, including its €10m state-of-the-art 3-bay maintenance facility, and operates extensive line training flights at airport.
