Aer Lingus has boosted capacity on its Dublin to Edinburgh route to meet anticipated peak summer season demand. Starting March 30th, 2025, the airline commenced operating a daily EIN3252/3 service utilizing a larger 174-seat Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
The A320 capacity is in place of the usual 72-seat ATR72-600 aircraft typically flown by Emerald Airlines exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional, which operates all five daily services on the popular route.
The inaugural Airbus A320 service, operated by the aircraft registered EI-DEE (manufacturer serial number 02250). EIN3252 departs Dublin at 10:10 local time, arriving in the Scottish capital at 11:15. The return flight, EIN3253, departs Edinburgh at 11:55, touching down in Dublin at 13:00.
