EI-NSA A320neo Aer Lingus 29 December

Aer Lingus took delivery of its third and fourth Airbus A320neo aircraft registrations EI-NSC (msn 11579 ) 27th June , EI-NSD (msn 11711) 26th October 2023. The aircraft are part of Aer Lingus’ shorthaul fleet, predominantly operating Ireland to London Heathrow routes and ad-hoc basis on European routes.

In an Linkedin post Aer Lingus Manager Technical Operation Paul Donnelly stated EI-NSC is the first aircraft from the Aer Lingus order book, that has been designed and equipped by the carrier to provide an improved customer experience, also supporting its growth and sustainability goals.

These aircraft have been specified with the latest navigation and communication avionics to allow Aer Lingus exploit its geographic position using (Westerly) North-South Atlantic routes. This will help to avoid French ATC Strikes and European Airways ATC delays on routes to Spain, Portugal, and the Canary Islands.

EI-NSA (msn 10712) and EI-NSB (msn 10786) are planned to retrofitted with FANS-C 4D technology, enabling optimized aircraft  trajectories and and acceptance processes and make traffic flows more fluid and aircraft speed easier to manage, thus reducing fuel and noise corridor, to provide common fleet operation and sustainability benefits.

Aer Lingus has four Airbus A320neo and six Airbus A321XLR on order.
