Aer Lingus has further expanded its wet-leased RJ85 operation with CityJet to operate a weekly Dublin-Paris return service EIN528/529 on Saturday evenings with effect from 1st June.
One of the two leased Cityjet RJ85’s is now fully tasked on Saturdays operating EIN282/3 to and from London City, EIN272/3 to and from Birmingham and EIN528/9 to and from Paris CDG.
Aer Lingus is maximizing RJ85 capacity when London City is closed between 1300 hours on Saturday till 1230 on Sundays to minimise noise impact on local residents.
With the expansion of the Aer Lingus wet-lease services. Cityjet is now uniquely positioned as an aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) carrier to both Aer Lingus and Air France on the Paris CDG route.
