Aer Lingus has been utilizing its Airbus A330-300 fleet to operate a series of US charter cargo flights during the month of April. IAG Cargo is activately promoting Aer Lingus Airbus A330-300 fleet available with a structural payload of 42.2 tonnes with a selection of pallet configurations according to operational requirements.
John Cheetham, Chief Commercial Officer at IAG Cargo stated “We were committed to quickly providing solutions for our customers during these unprecedented circumstances. Charters have proved to be a popular solution, and we have seen increasing demand from customers and shippers for this tailored service.”
Friday 9th April EI-FNG Airbus A330-300 operated a Dublin to New York JFK flight as EIN9109 departing 1957 local arriving into JFK at 2129 local.
Saturday 10th April EI-GCF Airbus A330-300 operated a Dublin to Miami flight as EIN9141 departing 1620 local arriving 1954 local returned next day as EIN9140.
Sunday 11th EI-FNG Airbus A330-300 operated a Dublin to New York JFK flight as EIN9109 departing 122 local arriving into JFK at 2129 local.
Sunday 11th April EI-EIM Airbus A330-300 operated a Dublin to Miami as EIN9141 departing 1632 local arriving 2057 local returned next day as EIN9140.
IAG Cargo has a high charter capacity, leveraging an extensive fleet across its sister airline portfolio – British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, Level and Aer Lingus. To date, the most popular aircraft for chartered flights has been the Boeing 777-300, followed by the Airbus A330-300, and the converted Boeing 777-200 passenger freighter.
