EI-NSA A320neo Aer Lingus 8 December 2023

Aer Lingus a wholly owned subsidiary of International Airlines Group (IAG) ordered two Airbus A320neo aircraft on 2nd November as per Airbus orders and deliveries November 2023 report released on 5th December.

This increases the carrier order book to total of eight aircraft with four aircraft delivered to date. Two aircraft are due for delivery in 2024.

International Airlines Group (IAG) announced 30th July the conversion of 10 A320neo family options, described in the circular published by the Company on 22 September 2022, into firm orders for 10 A320neos, with the option to convert certain aircraft into A321neos.

The Airbus A320neo list price $110.6 million delivers up to 20% reduction in fuel burn and CO2 emissions and close to 50% reduction in noise footprint when compared to previous generation aircraft, A320ceo. There is a greater density of 186 seats on the A320neo aircraft resulting lower fuel emissions per seat.
