Aer Lingus Regional operated by Aer Arann is to increase frequency on the Dublin to Cardiff route from 1st July from 14 to 17 services per week with the addition of extra flights on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays due to strong customer demand on the route. In 2012 over 60,000 passengers used the route.
To facilitate business traffic on the route from the 1st July the first flight will depart Dublin Airport at 0650, the route also facilitates onward connections to the United States via Dublin to Boston, Chicago, New York JFK and Orlando connecting passengers to benefit from the US Customs and Immigration clearance facilities arriving as domestic passengers.
