Lithuanian regional carrier Air Lituanica in response to passenger requests is to operate a short programme of flights from Dublin to Palanga and Vilnius for the busy Christmas season from 21st December 2013 to 5th January 2014.

Flights will be operated in co-operation with Small Planet Airlines using Airbus A320 and Boeing 737-300 aircraft.

Air Lituanica Commercial Director Simonas Bartkus said “Before the holiday and inter-holiday season, there is a strong surge of our countrymen looking to return from England and Ireland to Lithuania, as well as of those looking to visit their loved ones who live in those countries. Therefore, we will be offering flights that will help people visit each other more quickly and easily people are used to planning their Christmas vacations ahead of time, so we’ve decided to begin selling tickets to London and Dublin today. Ticket costs start at 299 Lt one-way.”

Services from Dublin to Palanga and Vilnius will operate December 20th,22nd, 29th and January 3rd,5th.

A total of 48 flights have been planned for the season 10 from Palanga to Dublin and London Gatwick and 14 from Vilnius International Airport offering a total of 6,700 seats.
