ASL Aviation Group has selected Aeronautical Engineers Inc (AEI) to convert another three Boeing 737-400SF 11 pallet conversions, bringing its total number of conversions to six. The aircraft are all high gross weight Boeing 737-400s, construction numbers 25261, 25184 and 25181 all built in 1992 and will undergo freighter modification in May and June at AEI’s authorized conversion center, Commercial Jet.

AEI VP Sales & Marketing said “We are once again honored that ASL Aviation Group has selected AEI’s Boeing 737-400SF 11 Pallet conversion for their fleet expansion. The AEI converted B737-400SF will allow ASL to keep their aircraft where they belong “In the air generating money.”

AEI will provide ASL with the new Ancra CLS cargo loading system capable of carrying multiple ULD’s providing increased flexibility.

The first aircraft for conversion N287AL Boeing 737-4Y0 c/n 25184 ex TC-JDH registered to Air Lease Corp was ferried Shannon-Gander-Bangor-Dothan on 3rd June. This aircraft will be placed on the Irish register with Air Contractors.
