Ryanair’s Polish subsidiary, Buzz, has transferred one Boeing 737-800 aircraft to the group’s Maltese subsidiary, Malta Air. The aircraft bearing registration 9H-QFM Boeing 737-8AS msn 37515 was transferred at Nuremberg in mid February, was formerly registered as SP-RNA.
This transfer is part of the Ryanair Group’s broader resource allocation strategy, which is carefully managed by the group’s Chief Operating Decision Maker (CODM).
The CODM, a key figure within the group, evaluates the performance of each airline based on profit and loss after tax for each reporting period.
Resource allocation decisions are made with the goal of optimizing consolidated financial results, ensuring that assets are deployed where they are most effective.
Malta Air, operates a fleet of 177 aircraft, consisting of 134 Boeing 737-800s and 43 Boeing 737 MAX 8-200s.
