The Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) has published its preliminary timetable for the fourth determination governing airport charges at Dublin Airport. The Determination covers the period 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2019.
A Issues paper will be published in July 2013 marking the beginning of a process of engagement between CAR and its stakeholders in a new determination on airport charges at Dublin Airport for use of infrastructure by cargo and passenger customers.
The Commission has permitted a maximum price cap of €10.67 fee per departing passenger from Dublin Airport in 2013. There is no single airport charge at Dublin Airport, as the charges that are levied on each airline are based on a wide variety of individual elements and can also vary depending on the season, with higher summer and lower winter prices.
