Cityjet has taken of its 21st New Bombardier CRJ900 on 8 February as part of purchase agreement announced on 1 February 2017, with one further remaining to be delivery the aircraft will operate under wet lease in the SAS network.  The order is valued at approximately $467 million.

The aircraft EI-FPW MSN 15443 was delivered Montréal Mirabel-Keflavik-Stockholm Arlanda on 8 February entering service on 11 February as SAS1141 Stockhokm Arlanda to Kallinge.

The Cityjet CRJ900 order is significant for Norhern Ireland’s economy as Bomardier Belfast design and manufacture the complete centre fuselage, nacelles and wing components for the CRJ900 aircraft.
