Emirates Airlines Boeing 777-31H(ER) 

Emirates Airlines has resumed a full double daily Boeing 777-300(ER) service on the Dublin route following completion of a 45-day refurbishment programme of the southern runway 30L at Dubai International Airport (DXB) to boost capacity, infrastructure and safety levels of the runway.

A6-EPY Emirates Boeing 777-31H(ER) MSN 42344 operating UAE230 aircraft from Seattle was the first to touch down on re-surfaced runway at 1756 local on Thursday evening.

On the 1st September will mark fifth anniversary of going double daily on the Dublin-Dubai route.

Emirates carries a number of Irish products onboard for premium passengers including Butlers Chocolates, Gahan Beef, Keogh’s Crisps, Killowen Yogurt and VOYA.

The airline carried more than 442,000 passengers on its Dublin to Dubai route last year, an increase of 2 per cent, and transported close to 10,000 tonnes of Irish exports in 2018.
