Ethiopian Airlines has taken delivery of the third of 30 Boeing 737 Max aircraft on order.

ET-AVI Boeing 737-8 MAX MSN 62448 Ethiopian departed Seattle 23 September arriving into Dublin 24 September before continuing onto Ethiopian’s home base in Addis Ababa arriving 25 August.

The first aircraft ET-AVM was delivered through Dublin on 1st July and second aircraft  ET-AVL MSN 62447 was delivered on 30th August.

Ethiopian said the new variant consumes 15% less fuel compared to its current 737-700/800 fleet.
