A fifth former JetBlue Airways Embraer 190 registration registered N249JB (msn 19000045) touched down at Ireland West Airport on 15 May after completing a transatlantic ferry flight from Macon, Georgia (MCN) with a stopover in Goose Bay, Canada (YYR),
As reported by German aviation site Skyliner Aviation, the aircraft arrived in JetBlue’s basic livery but notably without any branding or titles. It joins four other ex-JetBlue E190s at Ireland West, including N206JB (msn 19000025), N216JB (msn 19000026), now re-registered as LY-BQJ, N229JB (msn 19000032) now LY-BQK and N231JB (msn 19000033).
According to information from aviation database Planespotters, N249JB was once earmarked for delivery to Australian regional carrier Alliance Airlines. However, the aircraft was never taken up by the Brisbane-based operator. FAA registry data shows that the aircraft is currently registered to TVPX Aircraft Solutions Trustee Inc., and is listed as exported to Lithuania.
