Dublin-based ACMI and charter carrier FLY4 Airlines has officially launched its expanded summer flying programme in partnership with TUI, with operations commencing 1 May 2025 at Norwich Airport (NWI). The move marks a significant scaling up of the carrier’s ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) operations in the UK following a successful inaugural season in 2024.
FLY4, which operates on behalf of leisure giant TUI, is now serving three key UK regional bases — Birmingham (BHX), East Midlands (EMA), and Norwich (NWI) as part of the enhanced seasonal deployment.
The airline’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft, registered EI-FFA, was repositioned from East Midlands to Norwich on 29 April, according to data from Flightradar24. The aircraft entered revenue service the following day, operating flight TOM5468/9 to and from Corfu, marking the start of FLY4’s 2025 schedule from Norwich.
This summer, FLY4 will operate more than 2,200 flights from its UK bases, serving 25 popular European holiday destinations. The programme underscores the airline’s growing role in TUI’s network.
FLY4 Airlines CEO and Accountability Manager, Jochen Schnadt said “Going into our second year of operation, we are delighted to be operating for our client TUI again with an even bigger programme this summer from three bases. The FLY4 team has been closely working with our colleagues at TUI over the last few months to be as prepared as we can be to operate a safe, resilient and reliable operation on behalf of TUI, providing our Guests with a safe, pleasant and comfortable flight experience when travelling for their holidays this summer.”
