Icelandair celebrated 8th May five years serving Dublin, with the airline’s inaugural flight taking place on 8th May 2018. The route Launched with 6 flights weekly, increasing to 9 flights a week for summer 2023 season.
The carrier operates a mix of Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 9, Boeing 757-200 and Boeing 757-300 aircraft on route to flex to market demand. On occasion Icelandair operates once off Boeing 767-300(ER) and DHC8-400 scheduled flights.

The route is very attractive to Irish market, with the ability to add a 1-to-7-day stopover in Iceland at no additional airfare and domestic and Greenland connections, and seamless onward connections to over 15 destinations in North America.
This summer the carrier will operate its largest flight schedule in the history of Icelandair as its Keflavik hub will serve 54 destinations, operating 3 connecting banks with 785 connections within its network and through partnerships, with over 950 flights per week in August peak season.
