Icelandair recently announced extensive winter schedule 2022-2023 including a daily service from Keflavik Hub to Dublin operating year-round. The carrier operates a variety of aircraft types on the route to match capacity with demand including Boeing 737 MAX 8 and 9 , Boeing 757-200/300 and Boeing 767-300(ER).
The carrier offers an ‘Icelandair Stopover’ for up to 7 days at no additional costs for passengers connecting through its Keflavik hub to North America to explore Iceland.
Icelandair CEO & President Bogi Nils Bogason said “We have introduced an ambitious winter schedule, similar in size to our pre-pandemic schedule. This extensive winter schedule shows the strength of our network and business model and the strong demand we see in all our markets. For an island nation like Iceland, flight connections are extremely important, and we are proud to be able to offer around 220 departures a week to 38 destinations around the world, as well as good connectivity within Iceland.”
Icelandair commencing operating to Dublin Airport Terminal 1 on 5th August 2018 with Boeing 757-200 aircraft. Icelandair competes with PLAY Airlines on the route.
