Visit Florida & Partners Ireland inaugural Roadshow was held In Ireland visiting the city of  Dublin on Tuesday 2 May at Iveagh Garden Hotel next day in the city of Cork at River Lee hotel hosted by travelbiz.ie

The events consisted of informal networking, followed by short speech by Director of Global Marketing and Trade, Lauren Pace. Afterwards interactive presentations commenced with trade partners on their latest developments, followed by a very exciting quiz with  delicious Florida themed drink and food!.

Florida welcomed  over 7 million overseas travellers in 2022, an increase of 73 percent over 2021. The state attracted over 74,767 visitors from Ireland in 2022, which is a significant increase from 2020 and 2021 closing the gap on pre-pandemic levels.

This summer Aer Lingus operates a direct service from Dublin to Orlando five times weekly.  TUI will operate a new non-stop Belfast International route to Melbourne Orlando International Airport on four dates this summer,  22nd & 29th June and 6th and 13th July 2023, offering fourteen-night holidays in Orlando.

The highly anticipated Brightline railway line from Orlando International connecting to Miami in two hours and 59 minutes , opens this summer (Date to be announced) , with up 16 daily roundtrips, priced between $79 and $199, future plans include stops in Aventura, Boca Raton,  Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.
