Ryanair ACMI carrier Lauda Europe operated two Belfast International charter flights during October for sporting events held in Belfast. This was the first operation of the airline to Belfast International during the summer the carrier operated a once-off flight from Belfast City Airport to Palma operating for Ryanair.

9H-LOT Airbus A320-232 msn 2522 (RYR335/334)operated a charter on 8th October from Venice Treviso for an Ulster vs Benetton Treviso in United Rugby Championship 2022 league. The aircraft positioned from and to Vienna to Venice Treviso as LDA333/336. Interestingly RYR335/4 is a flight number used on Ryanair’s London Luton to Dublin route.

9H-LOR Airbus A320-214 msn 3206 (LDA9071/9072) operated a charter from Vienna on 24th October for Austria women’s national football team for World Cup qualifier at Crusaders’ Seaview stadium returning to Vienna on 27th October.

The Lauda Europe website states the carrier is “A Maltese airline providing wet lease and charter services across Europe on a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft”.
