Aer Lingus new year-round route to Paris CDG commenced from Shannon on Friday 22 September operated by EI-LRH Airbus A321-253NX msn 10319, re-establishing connectivity between Paris and Shannon airports after 12 years.
The service EIN908/9 is optimized to allow for passengers travelling from Paris CDG to connect onwards from Shannon to New York JFK and Boston with the two based A321LR’s operating twice weekly aims to provide valuable connections and increased capacity for leisure and business travellers.
Aer Lingus Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Donal Moriarty said, “We are delighted to commence this new direct service from Shannon to Paris re-establishing the connection between both airports after an absence of 12 years, offering customers travelling a convenient connection to the French capital. The new Shannon to Paris route will give those in the West of Ireland more opportunities for leisure and business travel as well as an influx of tourism opportunities to the region.”
