An interesting visitor to Dublin Airport today was OO-VLF Fokker F50 c/n 20208 Cityjet operating a charter flight to Antwerp. This aircraft is no stranger to Irish skies as it was delivered on 30th January 1991 to  Aer Lingus as EI-FKE named as ‘St Pappin / Paipan’ used test registration PH-EXA and remained in service until April 2001 when it was withdrawn from use and subsequent flown to Woensdrecht Airport for storage.

The aircraft was operated by Denim Air from November 2003 to February 2006 as PH-DMT in August 2007 VLM Airlines leased the aircraft from Aircraft Finance & Trading on 29th April 2008 the aircraft was re-registered as OO-VLF according to website Planespotters.net. VLM Airlines was acquired by Cityjet whom integrated VLM’s Fokker F50 into their fleet.
