Royal Air Maroc is expanding its short-haul fleet with the addition of two Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft formerly operated by Norwegian Air International, the now-defunct Irish unit of Norwegian Air Shuttle. Both aircraft are leased from Dubai-based lessor DAE Capital.

According to Planespotters.net, CN-RHH (MSN 42830) first flew on 26 April 2017 and was delivered to Norwegian as EI-FYA on 29 June 2017. It was named Freddie Laker, after the pioneering British entrepreneur who helped shape the low-cost airline business model.
