Ultra low-cost carrier Ryanair has announced it will launch a new route from Krakow to Gdańsk from 1st July , operating three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, competing against EuroLot.

Catherine Gaborec in Krakow with Ryanair said “The domestic Ryanair from Gdansk and Wroclaw to Warsaw Modlin are very popular and that we can offer a long-awaited route from Kraków to Gdańsk. Flights will begin on July 1 and will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

There is no doubt that the new domestic connections would greatly successful in the Polish market and more and more Poles will see that flying with Ryanair is a cheap, comfortable and safe.

In the past two years, Ryanair has become the leader in Poland, carrying more passengers than LOT.”
In addition to two new domestic routes from Warsaw Modlin to Gdańsk and Wroclaw start on 2nd April.

Krakow Airport is the second Ryanair base in Poland. In 2013, Ryanair carried more than 1.7 million passengers from / to Krakow, up 18% on 2012.
