Ryanair announced the launch of a new route from it’s Cagliari Base to London Gatwick operating three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. In addition it’s Kaunas route operating twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays goes year-round.
The airline expects to carry about 80,000 passengers on the routes in its first year of operation.
The airline announced Cagliari as it’s 31st European Base and 7th Italian base in October 2008, launching the base on 30th March 2009 with two aircraft operating 21 routes, delivering annual traffic of over 1.3m passengers.
