Ireland West Airport announced on Wednesday, 19 March, via their social media channels that Ryanair is increasing capacity on its Malaga route for May. The popular route will now operate three times a week, beginning 3 May, with flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. From June to October, the route will revert to a twice-weekly schedule, operating on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The flights will be operated by Ryanair’s Malaga-based fleet of aircraft, including the 189-seat Boeing 737-800 and the 197-seat Boeing 737-8200. This increased frequency highlights the growing demand for travel between Ireland and southern Spain as the summer season approaches.
Ryanair’s move to boost the capacity on this route is expected to offer greater flexibility for passengers and enhance connectivity between Ireland and the popular Costa del Sol destination.
