Manchester Airport announced it achieved a major milestone by recording 30.5m passengers in a year , putting it alongside some of the biggest airports in the world serving 200 destinations. Manchester Airport joins the so-called “30 Million Club” alongside major international airports like Dublin in Ireland, La Guardia, in New York, Melbourne Airport, in Australia, Hamad International Airport, in Doha, and Sabia Gokcen International Airport, in Istanbul.

Ryanair operates 17 based aircraft including 9 Boeing 737 MAX Gamechangers at Manchester Airport operating 64 routes in a $1.6 Billion investment supporting over 6,200 local jobs. The 737 ‘Gamechangers’ are highly sought by airports throughout Europe as they reduce CO2 emissions by 16% and noise emissions by 40% as well as carrying 4% more passengers.
