Ryanair Boeing 737-800

Irish budget carrier Ryanair fleet expands to 449 Boeing 737-800 aircraft with the delivery of EI-GXJ MSN 44859 from Boeing Field to Dublin on 8 November.

According to flight tracking website Flightradar24 the aircraft entered revenue service on Saturday 10 November operating from Dublin to Bristol vv as RYR504/5.

The annual US SEC Annual 20F filing reveals some interesting data on Ryanair’s Boeing 737-800 operations for the FY18 to 31 March. The fleet operated 725,044 sectors with average Daily flight hour utilization of 9.13 hours with 34 team members per aircraft.

The Boeing 737-MAX-200 aircraft could impact the residual value of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft could be reduced when it enters production, currently expected to be in Spring 2019. The Boeing 737-800 has a useful life of 23 years from date of manufacture.
