The Ryanair Group reported robust traffic figures for April, carrying 18.3 million passengers, a 6% increase compared to the same month last year. The group’s load factor—a key measure of seat occupancy—rose by one percentage point to 93%.
Over the rolling 12 months to the end of April, Ryanair transported 201.3 million passengers, reflecting a 9% year-on-year increase and underscoring continued strong demand across its European network.
The group currently operates a fleet of 620 aircraft through its five airlines: Ryanair DAC (326), Malta Air (179), Buzz (74), Lauda Europe (26), and Ryanair UK (15). Ryanair has 29 Boeing 737-8-200 aircraft scheduled for delivery. The airline has firm orders for 150 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft, along with options for an additional 150. It also holds 25 options for the Boeing 737-8-200 aircraft.
