Ryanair Boeing 737-800

Ryanair announced a total of 21 new routes in January resuming network growth after a pause period since last major announcement in September of Frankfurt Main expanison and opening of it’s new Memmingen base on 1st September. 

The latest expanision is significant in UK (Manchester) with 10 new routes including a new domestic route to Belfast International and key lesuire destinations with increased capacity on a number of existing routes.

The carrier announced 10 new routes into France from it’s existing European Bases with a clear sign of intent the carrier is planning significant expansion. According to The Local France website the carrier plans to open four new bases in France by 2019 in a bid to double its traffic in the country over the next “three or four years” basing up to 30 aircraft with Nantes,  Toulouse, Lyon, Marseilles  and Paris Beauvais possible contenders.
