Ryanair Boeing 737-800

Ryanair confirmed on 3 January confirmed that the UK CAA has issued Ryanair UK (AOC Number 2451) will allow this UK airline to operate UK domestic and UK to non-EU routes in a post-Brexit environment, if required. Ryanair’s Juliusz Komorek said “We welcome the Civil Aviation Authority’s decision to grant our UK based airline, Ryanair UK, with a UK AOC, allowing Ryanair to operate UK domestic routes and UK to non-EU routes in a post-Brexit environment.”

The first aircraft for Ryanair UK was registered G-RUKA Boeing 737-800 MSN 44867 on 20 December to Ryanair UK at Enterprise House at London Stanted formerly EI-FEF. According to Flightradar24 the aircraft has yet to enter revenue service.

Ryanair plans to substantial and profitable group of EU airlines under the Ryanair Holdings banner over the next 3 years with Ryanair UK joining Laudamotion (Austria) and Ryanair Sun (Poland) . Ryanair expects “That further M&A opportunities will arise”.
