Turkish Airlines commenced its first-ever service between Dublin and Antalya on Wednesday 6th April operating  three times per week on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays using two class Boeing 737-900 (ER) aircraft, until 30th October.

The Inaugural flight was operated by TC-JYP Boeing 737-9F2(ER) msn 42014.

Turkish Airlines with its famous tagline “Widen your World” is true to its name, offers a complimentary 3 course meal on board, all drinks, inflight entertainment and a very generous baggage allowance. There are even toy treats for the kiddies!.

DAA CEO Dalton Philips stated “Dublin Airport welcomes this new direct route between Dublin and Antalya. Antalya is a beautiful city with rich culture and stunning scenery. The commencement of the service is great news for business leisure passengers in Ireland and Antalya and we anticipate strong demand for this service. Dublin Airport looks forward to work with Turkish Airlines in promoting this new route.”

Turkish Airlines General Manager Ireland  Hasan Mutlu stated “I have been fortunate enough to have travelled and seen a lot of the world over the years, and I have to say, the quality of the offering in Antalya is definitely in the top three in the world. June, July and August is very strong and golf is doing great for the autumn”.
