Canadian carrier WestJet is ramping up its transatlantic service between Toronto Pearson International and Dublin, increasing flight frequency from seven to 11 times weekly for the summer peak season.
The enhanced schedule will run from June 27 through August 31, 2025, and will be operated using the airline’s two-class, 162-seat Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
The move marks a notable expansion in WestJet’s European offering, targeting strong demand on the busy summer corridor between Canada and Ireland.
WestJet’s increased presence on the route brings it into sharper competition with existing operators. The carrier’s 11-weekly service will complement daily flights from Aer Lingus—operated by a mix of Airbus A321LR and A330-200 aircraft—as well as daily Air Canada Boeing 787-9 service and Air Transat’s daily A321LR flights.
