Norwegian carrier Widerøe 28 April, inaugured its new route between Bergen And Dublin operating twice weekly on Thursday and Sunday year round, operated by Embraer E190-E2 aircraft, in 114 seat configuration, every seat is equipped with power outlets, with complimentary entertainment system through WiFi access.

LN-WEA Embraer E190-E2 msn 19020009 positioned Trondheim (TRD) to Dublin as WIF7606 to operate outbound flight WIF379 to Bergen (BGO).

Travelbiz reported Wideroe’s twice weekly rotation may well increase during the summer months, said Jon Woolf Senior VP Business Development at Dublin Airport.

Gate events held in Bergen and Dublin to mark the occasion.

Bergen, historically Bjørgvin, is a city and municipality in Vestland county on the west coast of Norway, a World Heritage City and a European Capital of Culture,  is renowned for its architecture and its mix of traditional wooden houses and brick buildings, as well as modern architecture. Widerøe launched Embraer E190-E2 ‘Profit Hunter’ in April 2018, operating its first service between Bergen and Tromso, Norway.
